With solemn reverence, we commemorate Dennis Preston of Inez, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on February 13, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Preston and Leander Preston (Robinson); his wife Effie Preston (Bowen); his daughter Oreatha Preston; his son-in-law James Johnson; and his siblings, Robert Preston, William Preston, Hester Preston, Rosemary Preston, Thelma Paris, Oreatha Grill, Tina Mae Kirk and Anis Castle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Virginia Johnson (James Harvey) of Louisa, KY, Loretta Preston of Inez, KY and Billie Jean Muncy (Leon) of Inez, KY; his grandchildren, Norman Johnson (Michelle), James Johnson (Krystal), Chad Johnson (Vanessa), Jennifer Spaulding (Jeremy), Samantha Carter (Lori Mills), Cristy Jude (Cody) and Aaron Muncy (Kate Risner); his great grandchildren, Brittany Johnson, Jacob Stepp, Alyssa Johnson, Allen Johnson, Kaylee Spaulding, Corbin Spaulding, Ezekiel Spaulding, Elena Grace Muncy, Brantley Jude and Julian Jude; and his great great grandchildren, Bradley Waller, Braxton Waller, Bentley Waller, Ava Tulson, Mia Tulson, Natalie Hill and Emily Eausley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Crum Funeral Home (498 New Rte 3, Inez, KY 41224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
