He is survived by: his wife Tammy Slone; his son Derrick M. Slone of Inez, KY; and his siblings, Dwight Slone of Inez, KY, William Ippy Slone (Beth) of Paintsville, KY, Sarah Deniese King (Ronnie) of Inez, KY and Micki Evans Sosby (Eddie) of Paris, KY.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
