He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Maynard and Virgie Maynard; and his siblings, James Maynard, Russell Maynard, Okey Maynard, Monroe Maynard, Hazel Scott, Shirley Steward and Caldonia "Ladybug" Spence.
He is survived by: his children, Asher Maynard (Jana) of Inez, KY, Brenda Branscome (Kelly) of Inez, KY and Amanda Crum (Brandon) of Whitehouse, KY; and his siblings, Elza Maynard of Louisa, KY, Clarence Maynard and Tora Ann Bowen of Inez, KY.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
