He was predeceased by: his son Daryl Bays. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Bays; his children, Ken Bays (Beverly), Ronnie Bays and Theresa Martin (Mike); and his grandchildren, Amber Bingham (Seth), Andrea Hummel (Andy), Elizabeth Hugenberg (Drew), Kenneth Bays (Cassidy) and Michael Martin (Katelyn). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Independence (11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
