He was predeceased by: his parents, Ansel Melvin and Ruby VanArsdale (Bowen); and his brother Donald "Don" VanArsdale. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie VanArsdale (Sizemore); and his children, Greg VanArsdale (Diane) of Florence, KY, Mark VanArsdale (Terry) of Hebron, KY, Michele Sanders, Tamera Rivera of Walton, KY, Sonnie Bates and Jacqueline Bates. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
