He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend James Irwin and Josephine Francis Adkins; his wife June Adkins; his brothers, Julian (Thelma Adkins) and Jimmy (Ruth Adkins); his brother-in-law John Thacker; his children, Stacy Washburn (Tim), Anthony Adkins (Aaron) and Jon Adkins (Amy); his grandchildren, Abby, Madison, Ashton, Alivia, Elijah, Emma, Sophia and Stella; and his sister Jean Thacker. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
