He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pope and Vonna Pope; and his son James Dean Pope. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pope; his children, Deana Martin (Tim), Jeff Pope (Jennifer), Ralph Pope, Jr. and Vonna Sparks (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Amy Kamp (Allen), James Martin (Betsy), Jonathan Sparks, Jared Pope, Jessica Davis (Taylor), Sarah Sparks and Rebecca Sparks. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, as well as many other close relatives and friends.
