She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Swanner and Mattie M. Swanner (Napier); and her cousin Thomas Swanner. She is survived by: her daughter Kristy Craven (Thomas); her grandchildren, Sylas and Eli; and her cousins, Charles Swanner, Jenelle Swanner, Mike Swanner and Stacie Swanner. She is also survived by cousins, family members, and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Phyllis' name to the American Kidney Fund (http://www.kidneyfund.org).
