He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blevins and Viola Hatcher Blevins; his wife Opal Jane Strunk Blevins; and his children, Larry David Blevins, Susan Elaine Lawson and Brenda Jean Teegarden.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Rose; and his siblings, Gaylord Blevins, Bobby Blevins, Ed Blevins and Brenda Sizemore. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
