She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Edward and Amy Mae Hornback (McDonald); and her husband Ottis L. Kearns Jr.. She is survived by: her child LtCol Darien; her grandchildren, Michael Kearns (Laura), Joshua Kearns, Matthew Kearns, Ashely Rankin (Koby), Kathryn Schaffer (Austin) and Kirk Sweeney (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Joey Kearns, Olivia Kearns, Rhett Rankin and Madison Kearns; her brother Roy Hornback (Sherry); her niece April Dawn Roberts; her great-nephew Cory Kalb; and her niece Christina Roberts.
