It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jane Knasel of Independence, Kentucky, born in Ludlow, Kentucky, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" B. Knasel; her children, Debbie Brinkman, James Knasel II (Shirley) and Tammy Meyer (Fritz); her siblings, Jean Moeves (Lou), Fiddler Vastine and Martha Vastine; and her grandchildren, Kristy, Paul, Julie, Michael, Bo, Mitch, Nicole and Joey. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
