He was predeceased by: his father Woodrow Hughes; his former wife Pearl Mae Hughes; his wife Helen E. Corey; and his brother Dewey F. Hughes. He is survived by: his children, LouAnn Hunt (Ken), Lonnie Hughes, Jr. (Kim), Bonnie Huber (Jay), Rhonda Yates (Joey), William Hughes (Robin) and Shawn Hughes (Brandi); his grandchildren, Joanna Blevins, Renee Ball, Sami Abel, Crystal Hunt, Travis Simpson-Hunt, Sherri Lynn, John Hughes, Melissa, Ashlyn, Destiny, Lonni Faye, Billy, Joseph, Chance, Daisey Mae, Chevy Nova and Carrigan; and his siblings, Faye Burnette, Bobby Hughes and Woody Hughes. He is also survived by 100 great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
