He was predeceased by: his brother Johnny Ray Noel; his mother-in-law Mary Hicks Soloman; and his pets, Misty, Moby and Anthony.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Evelyn Noel (Spencer); his wife Ruth "Jo" Josephine Noel (Hicks); his siblings, Diana Tirey and Brian Noel (Cristal); his siblings-in-law, Mary Maxine McGhee, Jean Noel and Dorman Ray Hicks; his aunt Faye Simpson (Virgil); his pet Esther; and also Mercy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
