With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit W. Ballmer (Independence, Kentucky), who passed away on March 12, 2020 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenford W. Ballmer and Henrietta Ballmer (Peters); his brother-in-law Michael Bernart; his son Scott Ballmer; his daughter-in-law Susan Ballmer; his grandson Andrew Ballmer; and his great grandchild Oliver Ballmer.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Works Ballmer; his siblings, Paul Ballmer and Virginia Bernart (Ballmer); his children, Dr. Mark E. Ballmer (Beth), Kevin Ballmer and Beth Ann Harris (Melvin); his stepchildren, Vicky Works, Kim Works and Wayne Works; and his stepgrandsons, Bryan Works and Robert Works. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
