We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Julia R. Raleigh of Independence, Kentucky, born in Talbert, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bradley Sebastian and Eliza Sebastian; her husband Charles Lin Raleigh; and her siblings, Seymour, Alex, John, Hiram, Virgil, Green, Cletus Sebastian and Mary Sebastian.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Osterbrook (Rusty), Glenda Schmidt (Dan), Brenda Lunsford (Joe) and Jeffery Raleigh (Sharon); her sisters, Nannie McIntosh and Alma Gross; and her grandchildren, Amy Sinzinger, Wesley Sinzinger, Joshua Osterbrook, Leslie Lunsford, Kendall Osterbrook and Eliza Osterbrook.
Due to the Governor's new Covid mandates, a private funeral service will be held for Julia at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that any donations in Julia's name be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Boz 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
