He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rice, Sr. and Virginia Gauldin Rice; and his sister Judy Moore. He is survived by: his wife Regina Moore Rice; his sons, Dallas Rice, Roger Collins (Alicia), Michael Collins (Melissa) and Nathaniel Moore; his stepdaughter Danielle Kennedy; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Moore (Gerri) and Virginia Morrison (Ron); his sisters, Shirley Reinersman (Joe) and Lydna Marx; his mother-in-law Emma Finnell; his grandchildren, Jaden, Brooklyn, Desarae, Dallas, Jr., Kyle, Keegan, Kaeli and Kyndal; and his great grandchild Nova.
