He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Deaton and Ada Deaton; and his grandson Eric Eversole. He is survived by: his wife Edna Deaton; his children, Troy, Brian (Tabitha), Tera (John), Shirley, Pam, Vicki, James and Patty (Rodney); and his siblings, Daryl Deaton (Diana), Lisa and Dedra Lutes (Tim). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
