She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Kutchinski and Erma Kutchinski (Allen); and her husband Duane Aardema. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shera, Jacob, Jarod, Austin, Sidney and Emili; her great grandchild Phoebe; and her sister Linda Fessler of Morley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
