He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Knasel; and his parents, Edward Knasel and Hyacinthia Knasel. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Brinkman, James Knasel, II (Shirley) and Tammy Meyer (Fritz); his siblings, JoAnn Koch and Marvin Knasel; and his grandchildren, Kristy, Paul, Julie, Michael, Bo, Mitch, Nicole and Joey. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
