He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Works and Martha Works (Burnett); and his brother Wayne C. Works. He is survived by: his wife Sue Works (Gillum); his children, Tina Helson (Mike) and Lisa Porter; his grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Luke and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Colton and Amelia; and his sisters, Sharon Womble (Jack) and Martha Ann Britton.
