He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marjorie Petty and Vernon Leugers; his son Justin Leugers; his brother Chris Leugers; his stepfather Glenn Petty, Sr.; his stepbrother Michael Petty; his wife Paula Leugers; his children, Douglas Leugers Jr. (Lona), Andrea Moffett (Joe), Lucas Leugers (Jill) and Maria Tarlton (Jason); his great grandchild Maelynn; and his siblings, Juli Ludwig (Joe), Glenn Petty Jr. and Connie Ihle (Greg). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Independence (11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
