She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bud" Barnes; and her brothers, Louis Howard and Jack Howard. She is survived by: her children, Terry Barnes (Pam), Sandra Brewster and Timothy Barnes (Linda); her grandchildren, Danny Barnes (Kris), Dennis Barnes (Kim), David Barnes, Darren Barnes (Shelly), Jennifer Powell (Troy) and Natalie Hehman (David); her great grandchildren, Langdon Barnes (Summer), Riley Barnes (Rachel), Michela Johnson (Mark), Keaton Barnes (Skye), Willow Barnes, Landrie Barnes, Trey Barnes, Brooke Barnes, Jimmy Noble, Avery Powell, Julia Powell, Kennedy Hehman and Mason Hehman; and her great great grandchildren, Arlyn Barnes, Maverick Barnes and Scarlet Barnes.
