She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Kathleen McElroy Moore; and her brother Donald Gene Moore, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jay Mefford; her children, Amberly Stehlin and Kara Freeman; her stepchildren, Shannon Fukano, Janice Harrison and Ronica Mefford; her father Don Moore, Sr.; and her sister Dena Allen (Jeff). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
