With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David E. Sands of Independence, Kentucky, born in Owingsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 2, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jessee Sands and Glyda Sands; his son David Edward Sands; his wife Lillie Mae Sands; his children, Brenda Geiman (Roger) of Florence, KY, Saundra Ball (Charles) of Greenville, TN, Barbara Fox of Florence, KY, Rebecca Sands of Verona, KY, Terry Sands of Eastgate, OH, Keith Sands of Florence, KY and Jesse D. Sands (Darla) of Paintsville, KY; and his siblings, Elizabeth Kromer (William), Roger Sands (Kim) and Bill Sands (Sabrina). He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Due to the current Covid-19 state restrictions, occupancy will be limited to 50% of normal capacity while still encouraging 6 feet of social distancing and requiring the wearing of face masks.
