He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Padilla Flores and Ezperanza Cruz Razo Padilla; and his brothers, Felix Padilla Razo and Fortino Padilla Razo. He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Padilla Toribo; his children, Cristobal Padilla, Jr. (Nelly), Fernando Padilla and Carlos Padilla; his grandchildren, Cristian Padilla, Abigail Padilla, Samantha Padilla, Adrian "Jace" Padilla and Nike Selena Padilla; his siblings, Guadalupe Padilla Razo, Jose Padilla Razo, Rogelio Padilla Razo, Alicia Padilla Razo and Hector Padilla Razo; and his godchildren, Vanessa, Melissa Sanchez and Heriberto Ramos.
A memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and 50% capacity will be limited at the funeral home.
