She is survived by: her children, Vickie Copsy (Timothy) of Independence, Kenneth "Mark" Thurber of Independence, Wendell S. Thurber (Linda) of Edgewood and Christian L. Thurber of Independence. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
