She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hayes and Doda Mae Armstrong Hayes; her husband Preston Tillett; her daughter Lyndia Gayle Bingham; and her siblings, Mary Noble and Charles Hayes.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Jean Raleigh (Dwight) and Carolyn Sue Burkhardt (Richard).

Memorials may be made to the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
