It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alexander Matthew Tye of Independence, Kentucky, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Bonnie and Alene Tye; his great-grandparents, Clara and Leslie Heuser, Sr.; his grandmother Dessie "Meme" Davis; and his uncles, Bill Tye, Bobby Heuser, Kevin Faulkner and Dana Davis.

He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Tye and Suzanne Davis; his brother Dylan Davis (Rebecca); his grandparents, Linda Tye, Roger Tye and William Davis; his cousin Greg Faulkner; his uncle H. C. Faulkner; his aunts, Brenda Norton, Ruth "Aunt Roo" Faulkner and Brandi Strickland; and his pet Copper. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous friends.
