We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2024, at the age of 98, Aleda Smallwood of Independence, Kentucky, born in Livingston, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Pennington (Stokes) and Russell Pennington; her husband William Smallwood; her siblings, Curtis Pennington, Rissie Wagner and George Pennington; and her daughter-in-law Linda Smallwood.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Leo Smallwood (Rhea) and David Smallwood; and her grandchildren, Sheila, Jeff, Katie, Will, Amy and Chris. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; as well as other friends.
