With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Asher (Hyden, Kentucky), born in Essie, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Asher and Sophia Collett Asher; and her siblings, Beldon, Willis, Charles Edward, Ralph, Robert and Lucy.
She is survived by: her children, Hobert Inness Asher (Amanda) and Rosalind Gowen (James); and her brother Waldon Asher of Asher. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home (155 Hickory St, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
