He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Griffith; his parents, Millard Griffith and Bessie Griffith; his grandparents, Arch, Eliza Griffith, Bub and Sarah Coots; his brothers, Millard Griffith, Jr. and Ross Griffith; and his stepbrother Giles Joseph.
He is survived by: his sisters, Alene Feltner and Bernice Griffith; his nephew Carlos Feltner; his son Anthony Ethan Burns (Carolyn) of Hyden; his stepchildren, Tommy Bentley (Wendy) of Hyden, Kentucky., Doris Gail Asher of Hyden and Debbie Densmore (Alan) of Hyden, Kentucky.; his close friend Willie Ray Pennington of Hyden, Kentucky.; his nephew Ralph Feltner; and his niece Tammy Adams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the funeral home towards burial expences.
