It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leila Adams (Hyden, Kentucky), who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Williams and Maggie Pennington Williams; her husband Ralph Adams; her grandson Ryan Adams; her great grandchild Emma Caroline Pace; and her children-in-law, Tommy Pace, Jesse Pennington, Nona Adams and Barbara Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Burley Adams (Cherrie) of Manchester, KY, Doug Adams (Wanda) of Wooton, KY, Virginia Pennington of Smilax, KY, Sandra Melton (Donnie) of Smilax, KY and Magdalene Sale (Chris) of Hazard, KY.; her sister Leetha Pace of Somerset, KY; her grandchildren, Brittany Adams, Neal Adams, Jennifer Dyer, Kristie Dixon, Jessica Pennington, Russell Melton, Kathy Hubbard, Eddie Melton, Tommy Lee Pace, Angela Bowling, Kenny Pace, Brian Adams, Jason Adams, Ashley Bowling, Jessica Hoskins, Heather Wells, Josh Sale and Chrisie Durham; and her sons, Danny Day, Harold Turner and Paul Baker. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
