He is survived by: his former wife Verda Caldwell; his children, Woody Asher (Linda Sue), James Asher (Laura), Shannon Asher (Chassidy), Tyler Caldwell (Shawna), Renee Caldwell Asher and Tracy Weaver (Shannon); his siblings, Larry Asher (Loretta) and Judy Clark; and his grandchildren, Chelsey Davidson (Ryan), Haley, Dylan, Amanda Irene Collett (Josh), Brendan, Tyler Strong, Cody, Shayla, Logan, Travis, Isabella, Alton, Bentley, Sarah Jade, Shannon Dakota Weaver, Dustin Garrett Weaver, Richard Blake Weaver and Olivia Caldwell.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home (155 Hickory St, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
