She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Colwell and Martha Fields Colwell; her former husbands, Albert Rice and Alonzo Combs; her daughter Martha Regenia Begley; and her siblings, George, Rufus, Jack, Ruben Colwell, Effie Begley and Margie Ellen Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn, Bailey of Confluence, KY, Sandra Johnson of Hazard, KY and Paul Rice (Roberta) of Grundy, VA; her sister Thelma Rae Morgan of East Bernstadt, KY; and her niece Rosetta Feltner (Eugene). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
