He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Howard and Katie Colwell Howard; and his siblings, Hazel Baker, Rachel Nicely, Zona Howard and Felix Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Stidham Howard; his children, Dewayne Howard (Christin), Tony Begley, Denise Spicer (Clint) and Cecilia Ritchie; his brother Bill Howard (Loretta); his grandchildren, Chelsie Spicer, Rayven Ritchie, Erika Cummins, Dylan Howard, Kanyon Ritchie, Josh Begley (Samantha), Kayla Begley (Cory) and Carman Begley; and his great grandchildren, Lilyana, Elijah and McKenzie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home (155 Hickory St, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
