He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doris Jones Toombs and Melbon Mack Toombs; his brother Tony Ray Toombs; his wife Cindy Chastain Toombs of Hustonville; his children, Timothy Mark Toombs of Georgetown and Dana Michelle Toombs of Morehead; and his sisters, Tina McDonald (Darrell) of Hustonville, Murlyn Toombs (Margaret Comella) of Elizabethtown and Mary Ann Chambers (Kenneth) of Vine Grove. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
