He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Griffin and Sandra Griffin; his siblings, Anthony Griffin and Sandra Floyd; and his nephew Jonah Griffin.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brown Griffin; his daughter Jessica Walls of Stanford, KY; his grandchildren, Blake Folger, Hunter Folger and Emery Walls; his siblings, Vernon L. Griffin and Debbie Griffin; his nephew Justin Griffin; and his great-nephews, Eli Griffin and Ayden Griffin.
