He is survived by: his wife Donna Carey; his daughters, Michelle Townsend (Scottie) and Alicia Carey (late Travis DeBord) of Moreland; his siblings, Jimmy Carey (Kay) of Stanford, Shelia Carey of Danville, Barbara Howard (late John) of Junction City, Evelyn Southerland (late Delbert) of Moreland, Dora Mae Tanner (Kenny) of Danville and Bernice Lambert (late Leon) of Junction City; his stepsons, Michael Strickland (Andrea) of McKinney and Cody Strickland (Debbie); his grandchildren, Tristan Carey (Jessica) of Junction City, Kendra Owen (Jesse) of Richmond and Caleb Yates of Moreland; his great grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jason, Jackson, Jayden Owen, Piper Reed and Vincent Carey; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Carey of Minnesota and Joann Carey of Bardstown.
