He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Fair and Elsie Cochran Fair; his wife Barbara Godbey Fair; and his sisters, Linda Walls and Judy Derringer.
He is survived by: his children, James Albert Fair, Jr. of Hustonville, Teresa Owens (Garnett) of McKinney and Misty Brock of Hustonville; his grandchildren, Robyn Curtsinger (Derek) of Stanford, Lathan Fair of Knifley, Stephanie Warner of Hustonville and Kynley Fair of Knifley; and his great grandchildren, Micah and Lakoda.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Hustonville Cemetery.
