It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Aretta Lucas of Hustonville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Warren Hicks and Marie Tiller; her husband Lewis Lucas of Washington; her son Wayne Lee Lucas; her children-in-law, Juanita Lucas and Homer Langdon; her siblings, Francis Hicks and Mildred Jean Thompson; and her foster parents, Vardaman Moore and Maria Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Langdon of Hustonville and Billy Joe Lucas (Terry) of Indianapolis, IN; her brothers, Raymond Anderson of Richmond, KY and Kenneth Deweese of Corydon, IN; and her half-brother Tommy Suggs. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
