It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gip Gibson of Hustonville, Kentucky, born in Lancaster, Kentucky, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Gibson and Vatus Emerson Gibson; his son Justin Gibson; his siblings, Dorothy Sprinkles and Larry Gibson; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Gibson, Charlie Roy and Arnold Sprinkles.
He is survived by: his wife Odena Brown Gibson; his children, Jason Gibson of Baltimore, MD and Jowanna Clarkson of Moreland, KY; and his siblings, Faye Roy of Cincinnati, OH, Sue Bailey (Ken) of Georgetown, KY, Dallin Gibson (Phyllis) of Georgetown, KY, Phyllis Wallen (Bobby) of Indiana, Russell Gibson (Kathy) of Hustonville, KY and Ricky Gibson (Jennifer) of Glasgow, KY.
