She was predeceased by: her parents, Orien E. Rich and Linnie Barger Rich; her husband Thomas A. Downey; her son Tommy Downey; and her sister Carol McQueary.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel R. Downey (Jane) of Moreland and Patty Downey of Liberty; her grandchildren, Chris Downey (Leslie) of Liberty and Michelle Renee' Lanigan (Ryan) of Danville; and her sister-in-law Betty Scanlon of Hustonville. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
