He was predeceased by: his parent Noel Trimble; and his siblings, Noel Trimble, Jr., Edna and Betty. He is survived by: his parent Lula Singleton Trimble; his children, Jeffrey Lee Trimble, William Kyle Trimble and Angela Paulette Owens of Hustonville, KY; his siblings, Charles Trimble of Florida, Harold Trimble of Burlington, KY, Margie, Martha, Eva, Charlotte and Anna Mae; his grandchildren, James Arthur Owens and Sherman Lynn Owens; and his great grandchildren, Veronica Phelps, Brittany Owens, Maecee Owens and Daniel Owens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
