He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lawrence Marcum, Jasper Marcum, Tommy Marcum, Loretta Marcum Peace, Jennie Fay Marcum Sexton and Blanche Marcum Saylor; his siblings-in-law, Nathaniel "Junior" Snelling, Jr., Sarah Alice Snellings and Wilma Snellings; and his mother-in-law Bertha Wilder Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Dora "Angie" Snellings Marcum; his children, Thomas Lee Marcum (Robin) and Angela Starr "Starbaby" Metcalfe (Chris); his grandchildren, Thomas "Tom Tom" Marcum (Brittany King), Kathryn "Katie" Metcalfe, Brooklyn Metcalfe and Christopher Metcalfe; his brother George Kelly (Charlene); his siblings-in-law, George Snellings (Dinah), Melissa "Lisa" Snellings, Laura Parham (Harold) and Nona Kay Towles; and his close friends, Ronnie Oplinger, Tony Ealy and Tom Elliott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends he loved.
