She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Howard and Josephine Withrow Howard; her son Douglas Wade Helton; her siblings, Boyd F. Howard and Azalee Nunn; and her half-brother Gary Howard.
She is survived by: her husband Ferman Helton; her children, Johnny Boyd Helton (Dora), Glenn Nolan Helton (Charlotte), Aberia Kidwell (Tony) and Katherin Hoskins (Larkin); her daughter-in-law Lena Helton; and her half-siblings, Johnny Howard and Kathy Sams. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
