It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Retha Shepherd of Hueysville, Kentucky, born in Lackey, Kentucky, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Bailey and Gladys Crager Bailey. She is survived by: her husband Earl Shepherd; her daughters, Tonya Hatfield (Brandon) of Hueysville, KY and Misty Conley (John) of Hueysville, KY; her siblings, Norman Bailey (Ruby) of Hueysville, KY and Lita Kay Hamilton of Lexington, KY; and her grandchildren, Anthony Tyler Tackett, Layton Douglas Terry, Reagan Alexis Crase, Trenton Dawson Hatfield, Daniel Lee Tackett, Jerri Lynn Hatfield and Carley Brooke Hatfield.
