He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Shepherd and Nora Prater Shepherd; and his siblings, Tramble Shepherd, Thurmal Shepherd, Herman Shepherd, Rondal Shepherd and Sylvia Shepherd.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Shepherd; his children, Andrew Shepherd (Cheryl) of Hueysville, Kentucky, Carolina Preston (Michael) of Hueysville and Stephanie Lynn Spears (Bryan) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; and his sister Rosie Manns of Indiana. He is also survived by Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.
