He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield Hale and Stella Bradley Hale; and his siblings, Frank, Herman Hale and Nadine Hale Manns.
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Ratliff (Darrell) of Hager Hill, KY, Richard Dan Hale of Hueysville, KY, Gwendolyn Prater (Arnold) of Hueysville, KY, Pamela Prater (Timothy) of Hueysville, KY and Freda Blevins (Kelvin) of Langley, KY; his siblings, Edith Mae Holbrook, Gladys Shepherd (Bobby), James Hale (Louetta), Arnold Hale, Julia Shepherd (Ray), Joyce Duff, Donny Hale (Melissa) and Danny Hale (Donna); and his grandchildren, Brittany Blevins, Kelsey Blevins, Bryce Ratliff, Shawn Prater, Hailey Blevins, Wesley Prater, Linsey Blevins, Sadie Prater, Brayden Prater and Baylee Prater.
