He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Vanderpool and Shirley Stumbo Vanderpool. He is survived by: his children, Eric Vanderpool (Lisa) of Hueysville, KY and Spring Barnes (Daniel) of Shepherdsville, KY; his siblings, Mike Vanderpool (Dianna) of Lexington, KY and Diane Hall of Pikeville, KY; his grandchildren, Scott, Abigail, Kayla, Ashley, Lauren and Katelyn; and his great grandchildren, Sullivan, Parker, Tanner, Carli, Lainey and Ellie Kate.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
