He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Pile and Margaret Helm Pile; his wife Ometta; his son Terry; and his great grandchild Sydney Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Douthitt, Timmy Pile (Dianne) of Hardinsburg, KY, Steve Pile (Cheryl), Missy Bowen (Marshall), Greg Huffer of Elizabethtown, Pat Pile (Trina) of Big Clifty, KY, Jeff Pile (Phyllis) of Lebanon Junction, KY and Sherry Johnson (Tommy) of Millerstown, KY; and his sister Norma Caplan of Hardinsburg, KY.. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
